Hiking and Vent mountaineering village

A sea of mountains

Near Vent, in the most unspoilt corner of the Ötztal Alps, rock queens such as Wildspitze, Fineilspitze, Weißkugel and many more summits are towering high above the valley. Their green, gray and snow white flanks are crisscrossed by hiking trails and paths for all skill levels. Family-friendly hikes and theme trails add to a holistic mountain experience. High Alpine summit tours or multi-day hut hikes are quite demanding even for experienced mountaineers. Also long-distance hikers have Vent on their to-do-list as Ötztal Trek, Ötztaler Urweg, a variant of the E5 long distance hiking route and Via Alpina run through the region.
