Long-distance hiking in Vent

The extension of happiness

The long-distance trails of Ötztaler Urweg and Ötztal Trek reach their queen's stages in the surroundings of Vent. In terms of altitude and stamina but also when it comes to panorama views and nature exploration. A popular alternative route along the E5 European long-distance hiking trail also travels past Vent as well as the highest stage of the Via Alpina, an international long-distance trail leading from Trieste to Monaco.

Across the Alps

In addition to the queen's stage of the E5 from Obergurgl via Timmelsjoch, the route variant from Braunschweiger Hütte to Vent and via Martin Busch Hütte and Niederjoch to Schnalstal is also becoming increasingly popular. Therefore Martin Busch Hütte and Similaunhütte are fully booked very quickly during the main hiking season. More freedom and leisure time feeling offers a "variant of the variant", which leads from Vent past Hochjoch Hospiz (2413 m). The hut nestles at one of the most important Alpine crossing points and makes a comfortable stopover on your way to Italy.
