Hiking and mountaineering in Vent

Hiking
Routes

Nothing but peace and quiet

The mountaineering village of Vent, nestling at 1900 m altitude, makes a real paradise for lovers of the Alps looking for the quiet and the genuine. Countless demanding hiking tours within the Ötztal Nature Park can be mastered on your own - but if you want to be on the safe side you are recommended to enlist a local expert of Vent's mountain guide office. Guided tours are also offered by Ötztal Tourismus and the Ötztal Nature Park - just keep your mind free for new impressions. Fine snacks, drinks and shelter are guaranteed in the valley's Alpine pastures & huts stretching up to the glacier areas above 3000 m. Lift-assisted hiking is available as well: thanks to two chairlifts you can effortlessly reach 2646 m from Vent. For more panoramic enjoyment there are refreshment stops along the scenic trails - where you can collect enough stamps for the coveted Ötztal hiking badge.
