Im Sommer können Sie gemütlich mit der Giggijochbahn zum Giggijoch fahren und von dort aus in ca. 20 Minuten nach Hochsölden absteigen.

Turn-by-turn directions

From Sölden you walk towards the church and hike up on the trail via Plödern through the dense forest.

The steeper forest path requires a good physical condition. When you're arriving at the Hochsölder Straße, you continue on the field path across the alpine meadows to the Gampe Thaya/ Gampe Alm.

Passing the alpine pastures, you hike further up and after a few steeper bends, you keep right. From there the hiking trail continues relatively flat towards Hochsölden.
