Explanation
VENT -> BRESLAUER HÜTTE -> ROFENKARFERNER
Even though the tour to Rofenkarferner is mostly just for exercise purposes, it offers a fascinating opportunity to admire the majestic beauty of the high alpine landscape while exploring the imposing nature of this mountain area. Although the route is well marked, it is still challenging. You should therefore have a certain level of basic fitness and alpine experience.
Author’s recommendation
On the way we recommend a tour to the panoramic mountain 'Wildes Mannle (3.019 m, secured by rope)'. The summit can be reached on the way back from the Rofenkarferner via the Rofenkarsteig (easy climbing sections); Walking time approx. 1 ½ hours.
