From the car park near the Fundus bridge (alternativ car park Mure in the center of Umhausen) you follow in the direction Erlanger hut (signposted), along a broad forest trail to Vordere Leierstalalm and further on to the ascending route towards Erlangerhütte. After a while you reach a narrow footpath. Hiking time from Vordere Leierstalalm up to Erlangerhut: approx. 2.5 hours

From the car park near the Fundus bridge (alternativ car park Mure in the center of Umhausen) you follow in the direction Erlanger hut (signposted), along a broad forest trail to Vordere Leierstalalm and further on to the ascending route towards Erlangerhütte. The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps.
