Thanks to the location at the end of the valley, almost everything has a very personal touch in the mountaineering village of Vent. So do the quaint inns and lovely restaurants that cater to hungry and thirsty guests with great passion. And of course a classic "Hoangart" (chat) in the parlors and on the sunny terraces is all about peaks, tours and adventures.

The Mountain Rescue Vent was organized in 1932 under the state line Tyrol. Also present were the guides of Vent. At the beginning of the mountain rescue had 20 members.On 10.07.1953 took Hr. The mountain farms of Rotte Rofen, often called Rofenhöfe, are located at an altitude of 2,014 m and about one kilometre to the west and 114 metres higher than Vent in the Ötztal Alps. Like Vent itself, the farms form part of the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal.The Rofenhöfe are the highest, year-round farmsteads in Austria (2014 m). The Gasthof Rofenhof is open (highseason, restday in summer on monday, restday in winter on sunday).
