Thanks to the location at the end of the valley, almost everything has a very personal touch in the mountaineering village of Vent. So do the quaint inns and lovely restaurants that cater to hungry and thirsty guests with great passion. Open from 17th june 2024 to 13th september 2024The hut is the highest hut in the Ötztal Alps and is situated on 3272 m. It is also called the glacier palace. The lodge is accessible only by the glacier. High Alpine Mountain Tour - Mountain equipment required. For a suitable acclimatization training excellent.

The mountain farms of Rotte Rofen, often called Rofenhöfe, are located at an altitude of 2,014 m and about one kilometre to the west and 114 metres higher than Vent in the Ötztal Alps. Like Vent itself, the farms form part of the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal.The Rofenhöfe are the highest, year-round farmsteads in Austria (2014 m). The Gasthof Rofenhof is open (highseason, restday in summer on monday, restday in winter on sunday).

The high altar probably comes from a former church in Karthaus in Schnalstal valley (statues, St. Bruno, St. Benedict).
