The whole scenery is dominated by Tyrol's highest mountain, the Wildspitze at 3,768 m.Hiking & Mountaineering.Vent can confidently be called a place of longing for mountaineers and hikers. The original mountain village owes this reputation to its historical connection to alpinism. And therefore belongs to the illustrious circle of Austrian mountaineering villages. Time seems to stand still here, but you shouldn't. Challenging summit tours, seemingly endless long-distance hiking trails, hut tours lasting several days, leisurely family hikes and educational theme trails await you. The summer cable cars facilitate the ascent and descent to the mountain world and to the alpine pastures and huts, while the mountain guides of Venter will guide you safely across the fles, ice and snow.
The mountain hotel is a traditional family business that offers guest rooms with bath/shower, toilet, and television. It has a sunny location and is only a few minutes away from the ski lifts. The mountaineering village of Vent is a paradise for hikers and mountaineers in summer and winter.
Opening Hours:On the wide open plain between Vent and the historic Rofenhöfe Farms, deeply symbolic sculptures that enter into dialogue with attentive hikers are catching the eye. The artworks made of stone were created between 2007 and 2013 as part of the ARTeVENT international sculpture symposium. With the help of an audio guide that can be accessed with your own smartphone, this unique Art Trail becomes a lively narrated symbiosis between art, nature and people.

Open from 17th june 2024 to 13th september 2024The hut is the highest hut in the Ötztal Alps and is situated on 3272 m. It is also called the glacier palace. The lodge is accessible only by the glacier. High Alpine Mountain Tour - Mountain equipment required. For a suitable acclimatization training excellent.

The high altar probably comes from a former church in Karthaus in Schnalstal valley (statues, St. Bruno, St. Benedict).
