This easy trail follows the pastures to Rofenhöfe. Along the way you will come across several herds of Haflinger horses that spend the summer in the mountains. The summit cross that used to be standing on Wildspitze, Tirol’s highest peak, was put up on this trail and makes for a great photo. The highlight and also end of this hike is the suspension bridge across Rofen Ache. The walk across the bridge is amazing and you get some great views! To return, follow the same way back.

Author’s recommendation

Stop at the Gasthof Rofenhof (Summer - Monday restday, Winter - Sunday restday)

With a sturdy stroller, the road is passable.
