4 days trend

The weather trend for the upcoming days can be described quite succinctly. Until the middle of next week, we will be under the influence of a very strong westerly flow. Frontal systems embedded in it will direct mild and moist air masses towards us. There will be periods of longer periods of heavy precipitation, with the snowline at around 2000 meters, gradually lowering towards Wednesday. From Thursday to Friday, a surge of polar cold air will seep in, causing the snowline to drop again, reaching low valleys. Simultaneously, a powerful high-pressure system will build up, bringing calm and increasingly mild fair weather until around December 20th. In the following days, there is indeed the possibility of the return of winter, which, according to current conditions, could persist through Christmas.
