“Venter Quarz“ by Norbert Maringer. Quartz boulder, uncovered.

At “Vent’s Quartz” it almost seems as if the gift ribbon that covers the large neighboring rock winds its way up here. When looking at the white shimmering ribbon of “Vent’s Quartz” one question arises: What is nature and where does art begin? Or is it rather nature itself that is elevated to art here? Initially covered by dense lichen and moss, the natural quartz vein was carefully exposed and carved out. Now it presents itself in the gray rock as a crystalline peculiarity, clearly standing out from its surroundings. A mindful look is needed to recognize and marvel at this artwork. Just like other wonders of nature.
