Celebration of the church in Vent
In commemoration of the patron saint of the parish Vent the Apostle Jacob the Elder, we celebrate the patron saint on 25 July Vent. This day - even as Jakobiday is known - has been the 8th Century as a day of celebration for Jakob the detectable. In Vent, this special day always celebrated on a Sunday - in the summer of 2024 on Sunday, 14th July. At 10:00 clock, we begin with a solemn service. Then a procession through Vent. On this day, served in the restaurants special Ötztal specialties.
