For both guided summit tours you need - depending on the situation and as arranged with your guide - crampons, breast and climbing harnesses and snow gaiters. The equipment can be rented at the Vent Mountain Guide Office or at the Vent Kaufhäusl shop.
For less experienced mountaineers a mountain guide is recommended! Glacier crossings are only possible with ropes and in a group. Before leaving for a tour you should let somebody know your destination and expected return time.
