Eagle Walk

The course of the Adlerweg Trail, that wind its way across Tirol, symbolizes an eagle that spreads its 'wings' over the country. This fantastic route starts in St. Johann in Tirol and leads via the Wilder Kaiser mountains, the Brandenberger Alps, the Rofan massif, the Karwendel mountains and the Lechtal Alps to St. Anton am Arlberg. A wide range of regional routes were added within the major side valleys of the Inntal, taking avid hikers to Paznaun, Kaunertal, Pitztal, Ötztal, Stubaital, Zillertal and Tannheimer Tal. Further stages include the Kaiserwinkl area as well as the Kitzbühel and Tuxer Alps. But the most challenging high Alpine trails can be found in Osttirol, crossing the mighty Großglockner and Großvenediger peaks. More leisurely hikes in the valley bottom are available in all parts of Tirol.
